REVIEW OF ROLLING HILLS PARK OGDEN, UT

1476 12th Street Ogden, UT 84404

This is a wood chip based playground in a park in Ogden, Utah. Park amenities include a wheelchair accessible play structure, covered picnic tables, benches, swings and a big grass area.

The play structure sits at the top of this very large hill and features a wheelchair accessible ramp, monkey bars, slides, curved climber, parallel slide bars and steps. While the wheelchair ramp is nice for access to the play structure, like other structures similar to this one in Ogden there really isn't much to do once you are on the ramp for the wheelchair user.

There is a covered pavilion with picnic tables, one small barbecue grill and trash can but no restrooms at the park.

There is a separate swing area past the play structure at the top of the big hill. There are two regular swings and two toddler swings along with a long bench facing the swings not shown. The swings are over a sand/gravel base with lots of weeds coming through the sand.

There are excellent views of the valley from this park (excuse the poor lighting) and at the bottom of the hill, still in the park is a large grass area and grass baseball diamond.

You can access the park from the top and bottom of the hill but there is no parking lot for the park, only street parking.

Pros:

- wheelchair ramp on playground

- great views of valley

- quiet neighborhood with not a lot of traffic

- swings

Cons:

- no restrooms

- no parking lot

- no shade on play structure

- no benches facing play structure
