UPDATED REVIEW OF WEST STADIUM PARK, OGDEN, UT

1650 Jefferson Ave, Ogden, UT 84404

This is a wood chip playground in a park in Ogden, UT. Park amenities include multiple play structures rated for 5-12 yrs olds, disk swing, stepping stones, two zip lines, 6 covered picnic tables, bbq grill, benches, large grass field, parking lot and access to the Ogden River Parkway. The closest restrooms are at Lorin Farr Park (0.6 miles away).

This playground is rated for kids 5-12 years old. There is really only one element in the park that is suitable for younger kids under 5 and that is the disk swing.

One thing I like about this playground is the metal railing/fence that separates the playground from the nearby parking lot. For safety reasons, you should be aware that beyond the parking lot is the Ogden River Parkway and the Ogden River.

One thing that makes this park stand out is the two short zip lines that you can use standing up or sitting down on the disk. The red platforms at each end are nice to help push off on.

There are lots of colorful and interesting things to climb on at this park.

While there is no direct shade on the playground, Ogden City did plant more trees surrounding the playground that will hopefully provide more shade in the future.

Near the playground there is a bench, 6 covered picnic tables (you can reserve online here), 1 bbq grill and trash cans.
