REVIEW OF JAMES MADISON ELEMENTARY OGDEN, UT

These are two wood chip based playgrounds at an elementary school in Ogden, Utah. Playground amenities include a two separate play structures, 4 basketball hoops, black top area and a soccer/grass field. 

Please note that these playgrounds are located at an elementary in Ogden School District. The playgrounds can only be accessed during non-school hours in the evenings, weekends and summers. There is no access inside the school for the public anytime.


Both playgrounds are located behind the school and the playground is fully fenced along the perimeter. 


The first play structure is rated for 5-12 year olds and features slides, tic tac toe panel, tunnels, curved climbers, bridge, monkey bars, parallel bar slide, chain ladder, pretend counter on ground level and stairs for access. 


The second playground is nearby and most likely rated for kids 2-12 year olds. It features four different slides, curved ladder, monkey bars, vertical climber, corkscrew climber, chain ladder and stairs for access. 



The playground also features 4 basketball hoops on a concrete court, black top area and a soccer/grass field. 

Pros:

- playgrounds fully fenced

- 2 separate play structures

- elements for younger kids with small slides and curved ladders

Cons:

- no public restrooms

- no shade on playground

- playgrounds not wheelchair accessible

- no accessible during school hours
