The inspiration for this website came out of frustration trying to find parks to take my kids to in Utah in early 2018. We lived in Northern California in 2017 and were spoiled by the amazing, toddler friendly parks and the city parks and recreation departments that made charts, maps and websites devoted just to the playgrounds touting their amenities and services. At the same time I following a website svtoddler.blogspot.com that listed and reviews tons of great playgrounds and kid friendly activities in the South Bay. It became really helpful in helping us find fun things to do and places to go as newcomers to the area.
We got into a routine of visiting parks daily in the Bay Area and were shocked into moving back to Utah at the start of winter, not only because of the weather, but the parks around us just didn't suit our needs and my kids desires to run and play. We visited a few parks mostly from recommendations from friends but it still seemed like we were somehow missing out from lack of information. And we were! Almost a year later we are just starting to find parks that suit the needs of our boys ages 2 and 4. We have started to branch out from our local neighborhood and are finding lots of really fun playgrounds. Knowledge really is power!
