REVIEW OF NORTH OGDEN PARK & SKATE PARK, NORTH OGDEN, UT

500 E 2750 N, North Ogden, UT 84414
These are wood chip base playgrounds and a concrete skate park located at a park in North Ogden, Utah. Park amenities include climbing equipment, twirling elements, slide, swings, baseball diamond, basketball court, sand volleyball court, skate park, covered picnic tables, walking path and restrooms

The playground to the south end of the park is rated for kids 5-12 years old and features a slide that is good for older kids, several twirling objects both sitting and standing, square hoops to climb through, a moving circle, and swings.

The playground has 4 swings- 2 regular swings, 1 infant/toddler swing and 1 adaptive/ADA accessible swing donated by Weber County Playgrounds and installed June 2019.

We first visited this park on the Cherry Days celebration of the 4th of July 2018.  It was PACKED full of kids. My 4.5 year old was able to climb on the slide by himself, but my 2 year old needed some help. Both my kids wanted to like the small spinning seats, but both found them unsteady and my 2 year old fell off one of the seats being pushed by a relative. They did enjoy the wire merry go round. It isn't our favorite park, but I imagine that they will enjoy it more when they are older.

To the west side of park there is a newer skate park. I have not played on it with my kids, but other moms I know have with their kids on scooters and have stated they really like it.

At the North end of the park there is a large baseball diamond with bleachers, grass fields, covered pavilions with picnic tables and a sand volleyball court.

Towards the North end of the park and near the North Ogden Parks and Recreation office there is a new play structure installed July 2019. Please note that the local elementary school uses it during the day for recess so it is unavailable for public use during school hours.

update 9/2019: the playground sidewalks and landscaping are currently under construction so the playground is blocked off.
