This is one of the older park playgrounds in Ogden. Mount Eyrie park is right next to Lincoln Elementary, but the school does not use the park for recess. The Ogden parks department recently took out all the sand and replaced it with wood bark chips.
The playground consists of a small metal playground structure of a metal slide, steering wheel, two attached swings and an additional four additional swings- two regular and two infant toddler swings on a wood chip base. This is also a big field to play in.
Pros:
- lots of swings
- fun metal slide
- new wood chip base
Cons:
- does not accommodate a lot of children at a time
- no adaptive swings or handicapped accessible elements
- older structure with some rust on the metal
- metal slide can be hot and burn legs during the summer months
