ADVOCACY IN ACTION- FIRST FUNDRAISER RESULTS

I am pleased to announce that we had a very successful first fundraiser benefiting Weber County parks. We had a great turn out, including 17 kids who enjoyed the gym time and Kindermusik class. With a few large donations, we raised enough money to purchase our very first adaptive swing for the city of North Ogden, plus a few dollars towards the next one!  It is planned to be installed in early spring, so watch for updates.

As you know, we are still a long ways from completing the goal of one adaptive swing (or more) in every city in Weber County. I will also be exploring more options in the next few months including corporate sponsorship for the swings and talking to more cities.
