NEW PLAYGROUND ALERT: NORTH OGDEN PARK, NORTH OGDEN, UT

500 E 2750 N, North Ogden, UT 84414

I am excited to announce a BRAND NEW playground installed at the beginning of July 2019 in the North Ogden Park. This one follows the same trend we have been seeing in Ogden and surround areas featuring the 2 story play structure and musical elements.

Our playground testers aged 3-6 loved the tall slides, many ways to climb to the top and the younger kids liked all the elements on the ground.

We visited the park a few days after this new playground opened and the only thing that wasn't working was the horns. I did hear afterwards that the city is still waiting on parts to make it functional.

The big metal xylophone was a hit with all the kids (and adults alike).

Overall, we really like the new play structure. Below is what the old play structure looked like. Comparing the two together I think that the old play structure was a lot bigger and can probably hold a lot more kids at once.

This playground is used during the school year for North Ogden Elementary so unfortunately it isn't available for public use during school hours.

While we were visiting the kids were complaining that there were bees on the play structure. While we dismissed it the first time, we did notice a fair number of bees (not wasps) flying around the structure and only getting close to the lime green metal poles. Whether it was coincide or that they were attracted to the bright lime green color I am not sure.
