There is one playground at this Ogden School District elementary school. This school was formerly known as Horace Mann Elementary. Playground amenities include a play structure, blacktop area with line games and basketball hoops.
The play structure at this school is fairly large and can accommodate lots of kids at once. Unlike a lot of other schools, this is the only play structure at the school for recess.
The play structure features 5 slides, 2 tunnels, monkey bar course, chain ladder, steering wheel, bridge, curved climbers, parallel slide bars, fireman pole and stairs for access.
Surrounding the play structure there is a large black top area and basketball hoops.
The entire playground and grass fields are surrounded by a chain link fence and a swinging gate that can be closed.
Pros:
- large play structure that can be used by many kids at once
- completely fenced in playground
- lots of grass and open space
Cons:
- no public restrooms
- no public access during school hours
- no shade
- playground not wheelchair accessible
