UPDATED REVIEW OF FRIENDSHIP PARK, SOUTH OGDEN, UT

5500 S 650 E, South Ogden, UT 84405

This new playground opened in 2023 or 2024 and is the newest of South Ogden park renovations, with the help of the 2022 RAMP grant. 

This playground features 2 wood chip based playgrounds, new shaded picnic areas and tennis courts. 

There are 4 different types of swings at this playground, a “mommy and me” swing or a generational swing, regular swings, a high backed accessible swing and a baby:toddler swing. 

Next to the older kids playground there is a playground rated for 2-5 year olds. The big tan building next to this playground is a cellular tower and what looks like elections for the cellular company.

This playground is smaller and has a couple slides, tunnels, steps and play panels. 

Other park amenities include tennis courts, soccer fields, pavilions and shaded picnic tables, walking track that circles the parkand restrooms. Restrooms are located next to the bigger playground. 

You can access this park on 700 E and 5500 S where there is a parking lot, or you can park at the Weber County Pleasant Valley Branch Library on Adams Avenue Parkway and there is a connecting sidewalk that leads to the park from the rear of the parking lot.
