Did you know that on non-school hours (after 3:30pm M-F, weekends and summer) the public is allowed* to play on elementary school playgrounds?
Elementary school playgrounds are some of our favorite playgrounds, especially for younger kids. Most of the playgrounds are fenced in or very far from a road. They can also accommodate many kids at one time. A lot of the schools have at least 2 or more playgrounds at one location.
The main disadvantage of these playgrounds is the lack of public restrooms. Most also do not have swings.
